Payment Methods
Waterproof World accepts the following payment methods
- Credit and debit cards via secure payment processor Sagepay.
- Personal cheque made out to Waterproof World and sent to:

Please note: for cheque payments, goods will be dispatched on cheque clearance.
Privacy Policy
When you order from us, we gather information as follows:
- Your name, email address and delivery details are collected by us at checkout. When you select your payment method, you are passed directly to a secure site for payment processing. We never see your card details. We receive from them confirmation of payment, and verification of e-mail and delivery addresses. We necessarily share your name and delivery details with our carriers.
- We keep a record of your purchases with us which means that should you have a query related to an order we can deal with it most effectively. Should you wish to have us remove your details from our database, please e-mail us at
email headed 'please remove'.
- We keep a record of any e-mail correspondence you send us. This helps us keep track any problems or concerns you've had with our products or services.
We never pass on your details to any other third party.
Returns
If for any reason you wish to return an item to Waterproof World for exchange or refund, please return it unused in original undamaged packaging with labels intact, within 14 days of goods receipt. We require that you notify us by email prior to sending goods back. Items are returned at customers own expense and risk.
Exchanges. Goods for exchange must be returned to us within 14 days of order. For orders where Standard or Next Day delivery were selected, we send out replacement goods once at no additional delivery charge. We reserve the right to charge postage at Royal Mail cost for repeated exchanges.
Refunds. Goods for refund must be notified by email & returned to us within 14 days of receipt. For card payment, the refund is made directly to the card used, and we will email you to confirm when this has been actioned. Once notified, the payment then takes 3-4 days to clear back to your card.
If a discount was applied to the original order, discount qualification will be re-evaluated and non qualifying discounts will be deducted from refund amount.
Faulty. Should any item purchased from us prove faulty on receipt, then please contact us by email as described above, prior to returning the goods to us and we will respond with instructions for return of the goods to us for inspection. Once the fault is confirmed, the goods will be replaced or refunded and postage incurred reimbursed.
Incorrectly packaged goods. If you receive goods sent incorrectly, please let us know immediately by email and we will contact you as per faulty goods to resolve the error and get the correct items off to you by return.
General Notes:
- Statutory rights are not affected.
- Goods returned requiring excess postage on receipt will not be accepted and will be returned to sender.
- We reserve the right to charge an admin fee of up to £5 for handling of returned goods sent in contravention of the above policies.
Delivery
Delivery Options - We deliver within the UK only

Standard delivery (UK) is charged at £3.50 at checkout. Goods are dispatched usually within 48 hours and are sent Royal Mail 2nd class post, which will usually result in delivery within 3-5 days of order. Should you return goods for exchange within 14 days of dispatch, replacements will be sent by standard delivery, free of additional charge.
First Class UK delivery is charged at £4.95 at checkout. Goods are dispatched usually within 24 hours and are sent Royal Mail 1st class post, which will usually result in delivery within 1-3 days of order . Should you return goods for exchange within 14 days of dispatch, replacements will be sent by standard delivery, free of additional charge. This delivery is an add on service, contractual on goods dispatch.
Our International Services: are suspended post Brexit.
Delivery Schedule
Please select the delivery service appropriate for your requirement. We do not dispatch at the weekends or on bank holidays. Just occasionally we might be out of stock of an item in your order. Should this occur, if you have selected a fast dispatch service, we will contact you immediately with an estimated date for the item's availability. We will ask if you wish us to send it to you separately then, or if you would prefer to cancel the item from your order. There will be no additional cost to you for us dispatching items separately in this instance. If you have selected standard delivery, we will inform you of a dispatch delay for goods exceeding 3 days, however we will endeavour to send all your goods to you as a single dispatch.
Undelivered goods
Should your goods be returned to us as undeliverable by Royal Mail or courier, we will contact you to arrange re-delivery, however we reserve the right to make a further charge to cover our additional postage expense.
We take no responsibility for goods lost in transit due to an incorrectly supplied address.
